Adidas joins Japan’s RECOUTURE on a custome take on the Campus 80 sneaker. RECOUTURE is an experimental shoe repair shop that specializes in unique hybrid designs and is run by Shun Hirose in Tokyo. The lateral is made in suede and wraps the eye stays as it does the tooling in one seamless piece with leather Three Stripes, “CAMPUS” embroidery, and contrast stitch. The opposite side features a tongue that is stitched down underneath the eye stay to prevent it from slipping downwards. Finished with co-branded insoles.
